  Sibella is said to have been a daughter of Sir Robert by his 2nd wife, but the 1610 birth of her eldest son suggests she must have been born well before the 1599 death of his first wife Anne. marr 1stly Richard COSBY of Sradbally, 3rd cousin of her sister-in-law Martha COLCLOUGH through descent from the AGARDs of Foston, Derbyshire; he died 5 Dec 1631; issue: Alexander (COSBY), of Stradbally Hall; b 8 Feb 1610; died 6 Aug 1636; marr Ann SLINGSBY and had issue an only son Francis who died young before 1638. Francis, b 5 Jul 1612; succeeded his nephew to Stradbally Hall; M.P. for Carysforte; marr Ann, daughter of Sir Thomas LOFTUS Kt, of Killyan (she died 1673), & had issue including a second son Thomas whose son Francis COSBY of Vicarstown marr Ann, daughter of John PIGOTT of Kilfinney.
