- Privy Purse Expenses of Elizabeth of York:; Wardrobe Accounts of Edward IV
Ent. 4, 17, 20, 21, 23, 30, 31, 51, 56, 62 - One of the Queen's gentlewomen. Her salary was 20 li. per annum. It is probable that this lady was Eleanor, daughter and heir of John Loutham of Northampton, and widow of Sir Richard Verney, of Compton Murdock and Warwick, Knight, who died in 1490, ancestor of the Lords Willoughby de Broke. If this conjecture be correct, she must have been then aged.
